Antonella Newnham


Antonella Newnham is the Librarian at Stirling College.  She graduated with an Arts Degree from Monash University in 1987, and then with a Graduate Diploma of Library and Information Science from Melbourne University in 1989.  Antonella worked for many years in corporate and public libraries and began her part time role with Stirling in 2009. Her focus is to encourage all students to fully utilize the wealth of resources available to them, both in print and online formats.  Antonella has been very active on the University of Divinity’s Library Committee over the years and was involved in the introduction of the University’s online Library Hub.  She also serves on the Vice Chancellor’s Library Task Force, whose brief is to optimize the opportunities for greater collaboration between the libraries of the University and focus on future developments.  Antonella became Chair of the Library Committee in July 2021 and continues to work for the best library outcome for all UD students.  She has two adult children and enjoys travel with her husband and family.
