In some unforeseen and exceptional circumstances students may apply for an extension.
Students, please note: It is important to submit assessments on time. Failure to do so may have consequences.
Submission of assessments pieces according to particular unit assessment dues dates is an important aspect of educational formation: complying with assessment due dates enables prompt feedback before the next assessment piece is due; lecturers schedule these due dates carefully, proportionately, enabling students to manage a semester work load so as to maximise educational experience and results; this is also fair with regard to other students who are diligent in submitting assessment work by the due date.
Applications for extensions must be submitted prior to the due date
For extensions of up to 14 days (and no later than the final day of the examination period), students may apply for a Lecturer’s Extension, normally not less than 3 days before an assessment item is due. The extension form must be be directed to the lecturer.
For extensions of up to four weeks, students may apply for a Dean’s Extension, normally not less than 5 days before an assessment item is due. The Dean’s Extension must be directed to the register: email@example.com
